Assistant Business Manager
The Circle School is seeking an analytical, computer-savvy,
and detail-oriented
professional to “person” its front office, assist with
prospect and family contacts, and manage general bookkeeping and accounting. Please
note that this is an administration-oriented position, and involves only limited
interaction with students.
The ideal candidate possesses the following required qualities:
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Strong attention to detail, including an ability to catch those inevitable mistakes.
-Ability to responsibly handle confidential personal and financial information.
-Highly computer literate, and proficient with Microsoft Office programs (at
least Word and Excel, but Access is a huge plus!).
-Some bookkeeping experience, preferably using QuickBooks.
-Adept at learning new processes, both online and off.
-Bachelor's degree preferred.
-Respect for children, but also possessing a willingness to say “no” or
pass them off to someone else when they come to the office in need of non-office
assistance, or begging you to do fun things with them…
Salary is upper 20's with suitable experience.

During the school year, hours are 8am-4pm, with occasional evenings (three a
year, usually) required for Open House events. Summer hours are flexible, with
corresponding adjustment in pay.

The Circle School occasionally seeks program staff members with Pennsylvania teaching certificates for early childhood, elementary, or high school. The school has no open program positions just now, but we are always glad to hear from interested, qualified candidates, especially those with experience or knowledge of integral education, such as Sudbury schools.
